The EPA has recently released The Environment Protection (Water Quality) Policy which aims to protect South Australia’s waters from pollutants.

Business and industry and the whole community has a responsibility or ‘duty of care’ to help safeguard the State’s water, land and eco-systems.

Codes of Practice have been developed to assist business and industry to comply with the requirements of the Water Quality Policy and the Environment Protection Act. The Codes also provide advice and information about how to operate in a ‘best environmental practice’ manner.
