Inefficiency

Whilst many South Australians have adopted water conservation measures there is a lot that can be done to use water more efficiently.

In many ways, the community’s use of water is often inefficient and results in a lot of water being wasted. Examples include evaporation of dam water on farms, inefficient irrigation methods, or excessive watering of domestic lawns and gardens.

All of us have a role to play in using water more efficiently. Consider buying water efficient appliances, learn about water efficient gardening, or just think about your use of water in and around the home.
