EPA Water Quality Policy
The EPA has recently released The Environment Protection (Water Quality) Policy, which aims to protect South Australia’s waters from pollutants.
Land managers and the whole community has a responsibility or ‘duty of care’ to help safeguard the State’s water, land and eco-systems.
Codes of Practice have been developed to assist land managers to comply with the requirements of the Water Quality Policy and the Environment Protection Act. The Codes also provide advice and information for a person or business to operate in a 'best environmental practice' manner.
These Codes of Practice are specific to land managers:
